Competition preparation, student research, and evenings spent studying with friends from other schools.
You may remember us as aeternum.global. We’ve moved domains; we’re still Aeternum.
Aeternum started in 2024 because we wanted better guidance for academic competitions. Useful advice was scattered, and it wasn’t always easy to find someone who had been through the process. We began bringing students, past competition winners, and advisors together to share what they knew.
Quiz Nights came later. Some of us were already playing quizzes with friends and realised how much we enjoyed learning that way. We decided to bring those evenings into Aeternum.
Friends from different schools started joining the same evening sessions before exams. We’d play Kahoot, compare answers, and work through the topics we needed to revise. Over time, those evenings became a tradition.
We still prepare for competitions and organise research talks. Quiz Nights have become another regular part of Aeternum: a way to study together and keep in touch with friends across schools.
We care more about genuine curiosity than credentials. The best ideas in our community have come from students just asking "why."
A welcoming place to learn shouldn’t depend on your school or postcode. Our activities are free and open to students wherever they are.
We prepare students to compete — but the community itself is built on collaboration, not rivalry.
You can join a quiz, ask about a competition, or take part in a workshop. Get in touch and tell us what you’re interested in.
